Broadcast Media Production

Description of Program

Have you ever dreamed of working in television media? Broadcast Media Production will show you how to become an integral part of the production team. You'll learn how to work both behind, and in front of the camera to communicate information visually, verbally, and graphically.

What will I do in this program?

Experience the real world of broadcast and multimedia production through hands-on laboratory and studio operations. You'll learn producing, editing, directing, interviewing, and reporting skills.

You'll learn to produce, audio, video, multimedia productions such as:

  • How to make a music video
  • Dynamic commercials
  • Gain a real idea of how the broadcasting industry works
  • How to handle equipment and run a camera
  • Lighting design
  • Producing
  • Directing
  • Script editing and development
  • Media literacy

All involve skills vital to a successful career in media production.
